RULES & REQUIREMENTS
Before applying for the Study Abroad program, please review the following requirements:
Undergraduate students applying for the program must have completed at least four semesters of studies at Technion.
Usually, students in a four-year program can go abroad for their 5th, 6th, 7th, or 8th semester, and students in a three-year program can go abroad for their 5th -6th semester (subject to the faculty approval).
Undergraduate students in Science and Engineering must have a cumulative average of 80 or above.
Graduate students must have completed at least two semesters of study at Technion and have the approval of their advisor and of the Graduate School before applying.
Students must have no previous disciplinary issues.
Students must have a proper academic status.
Students must have a very good proficiency in English (reading, writing, and speaking). Please also consult with your faculty.
Dates and Deadlines
Students must apply for the Study Abroad Program through GTIIT Israel Office. Registration is open and should be completed before the deadlines indicated herein.
Applications are to be submitted using the online application form.
Application deadline for Fall semesters: August 15th
Application deadline for Spring Semester: January 15th
Fees and Charges
All fees will be charged through the student account.
Every applicant will be charged a non-refundable application fee of 190 NIS.
*Studens visiting GTIIT within the framework of the Study Abroad program pay tuition fees to the Technion.
*They may be required to pay additional fees, such as application fees, campus fees, etc., at GTIIT.
Miscellaneous
Students nominated for the program must take a leave of absence from Technion.
All students are responsible for visa, medical, and travel insurance. Nominated students will be directed to the suppliers who work with the GTIIT Israel Office.
All students are responsible for the costs of the dorm’s water and electricity bills, food, public transportation, books, and all other costs abroad.
Students must abide by the code of conduct of GTIIT and Technion during their semester abroad.
Students can only take courses at GTIIT during their Study Abroad semester/s; course registration for the same semester at the Technion will not be allowed.
Students who miss Moed B exams due to their participation in the program can attend the next regular exam date after their return to the Technion. Requests should be submitted in advance (after acceptance to GTIIT) to the undergraduate studies office / graduate studies office.

To apply for the exchange program, students must submit their application via the online application form.

Faculty Approval Form (List of Faculty Advisors)
Up-to-date Transcript of Grades in English (can be downloaded from here)
CV in English
Motivation Letter in English (your reasons to participate in the program)
Passport Digital Copy + Digital Passport Photo (2 separate files)
